Headshot of Teri Wright.

Teri retired in 2018 from her long-time career to devote herself to saving the environment, mitigating climate change, and halting the extinction crisis. As a teenager, she was motivated by the dolphin communication work of John Lilly. Teri’s fervent wish was to become a marine biologist. She is thankful to have the opportunity to work alongside the team at Wild Orca. Promoting the research and advocating for the Southern Resident killer whales is the dream of a lifetime and allows her to be a quasi/pseudo/vicarious marine biologist supporting the work and goals of saving this critically endangered species.
